Geopal is proud to introduce GP-NOVA, our brand new stand-alone ATEX detector that will not only ensure safety, reliability and accuracy but will also keep maintenance cost at minimum.
GP-NOVA is designed towards:
- Achieving a SIL 2 rating according to IEC 61508:
- Performance dictated by EN 60079-29-1
GP-NOVA Features:
- OLED display: Bright, clear and large field of view, consuming less power than conventional displays.
- Touch buttons: Smooth and stable interface and navigation without the need of a magnetic wand.
- Status LED bars: Clear visibility within a distance of 20 m. The control scheme of the LED bars is executed in such way that status of the system is understandable to people with decreased ability to see color or differences in color.
- Software black box feature (logging function): Collection of measurement data over 24 hours/32 days depending on configuration. Data can either be studied via plots on a mobile device or sent to an email for further analysis.
- Wireless communication: Live reading, configuration and logs via mobile devices, reduces maintenance time, effort and cost.
